The current versioning of CloneDeploy is major.minor.patch
- A major version breaks compatibility with older versions. If all goes well there will never be a CloneDeploy 2.x.x
- A minor version introduces new features as well as possible bug fixes. It provides upgrade compatibility to a previous version. Minor versions will be considered an official release.
- A patch provides bug fixes and is an add on to a minor version
Important: You can only apply patches to your exact minor / official release version. For example if you try to apply patches from 1.1.x to 1.0.x , you will break something.
